I have really been blessed by Ambassador's ministry. I'll keep this situation in prayer. Thankfully the Lord allows repentance and healing.

...because none of us are perfect and we all fall short.
I pray that those who may feel disappointed or let down by this announcement try not to feel this way, as we know that he is human, like the rest of us. I am in no way condoning this, but I've been so blessed by his ministry over the years, that I think the best thing we can do is pray that he makes a quick 'recovery' and gets back in the right place for God to use him mightily again. written by Dj WhA*spopin?, May 15, 2009
yeah, this is quite disturbing but I'ma handle it maturely. I've been blessed and fed by the ministry of Pastor Duce aka the Ambassador. We should all keep him in prayer. He's a man of God.

this is sad news, but as long as he refocuses and approaches God he can be restored. I'll continue to pray for his recovery of all parties involved.

Speaking as a woman. I am moved to tears. I am not sure how I can explain this to my teen girls. One of whom has a picture of them together on her page from his launch in NY. The consequences will be devastating. I will pray.

I'm pleased in my spirit to hear and see the people of God standing behind this great man of God. I don't believe that this occurence is a testament to the Ambassador's character. Anyone that knows who he is has been blessed by who he is. And this is just a reminder to the Body of Christ that our eyes should be fixed on Christ rather than fallible man. There's not a christian that exists that has never fallen victim to the enemy's schemes. So instead of putting the people of God on pedestals and deifying them as if they are unable to fall, let us appreciate the work of the ministers of God and deify the only one worthy of exaltation. The Lord God himself. Grace and peace.

I think that the issue should have been dealt with privately, amongst the CMR camp. What if there was a YouTube clip of all of our sins displayed for the world to see? What if one morning at church the pastor says we've decided to reveal _____ stronghold for the congregation to see? True enough it has to be dealt with but amongst the brothers of the CMR fam. Make him step down until the issue is resolved but I personally don't think this was the way to do it...

That's really sad news for the marriage and the family. I hope that Ambassador will take time out to rectify things with his family. I will pray for them all in the meantime.

It's so difficult to live for Christ when the world is warring against you, the devil is on your back and your flesh cries out for rebellion! But Jesus is stronger than all the three! Amba you are in my prayers! I've got mad love for you and your ministry!!! God is sovereign!!!

I am not sure what has happened regarding Ambassador, and I am glad to see that CMR has chosen to exercise prudence by not revealing unnecessary details.
I am also glad to see that you have made a choice to exercise discipline according to the scriptures. I am sure this was not an easy decision knowing the flack you would receive from the untrained and unlearned in the church. But if more discipline was practiced in our local churches we would have more people in ministry walking in the fear of the Lord. Especially in music ministry. My heart goes out to Ambassador and his family. I hope his wife will be able to forgive, love and support him through this. It's my prayer that it strengthens their marriage. I am also praying that this incident will be used by God to strengthen the church and cause others in ministry to "be sober, and vigilant, knowing that your adversary the Devil walks about like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour." We must remember that lust in scripture is often described as deceitful lust for a reason. They can deceive you! Ambassador, my prayers are with you brother. May the Lord use this to strengthen your resolve to walk in holiness and restore you to ministry with a greater commitment to fight the good fight of faith! As a man in public ministry myself, the news regarding Ambassador has brought soberness to my own heart. May everyone aware of this take heed lest they fall. Especially those in ministry that are walking/living in secret sins. Let this be a warning that Satan knows our weaknesses and waits for the right time that we can have the most impact for his kingdom. Be Sober! If you are in any form of ministry, make this your daily prayer: Ps. 19:13 kjv. Also create accountability for yourself. Surround yourself with 1-2 people that you can be honest and open with to provide the appropriate accountability so that you can flee youthful lust. This culture is charged with sexual immorality and it will get more difficult for men to stand! Make no provision for the flesh. Be encouraged family. We must not make excuses for sin in our lives or others. Especially anyone in ministry; for a little leaven, leavens the whole lump. Lets not forget the Holy Spirit's warning through Paul to the Corinthian's because they failed to discipline a brother in the church for sexual immorality - 1Cr 5:6 Your glorying [is] not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump? CMR you have done the right thing here. May you find God's grace to be sufficient. Let's remain humble regarding this and remember that God hates sins of the mouth (talebearing, slander, gossip, whispering....). I will be praying. written by Israel, May 16, 2009
Man when I heard about this today it was like a punch to the gut. I like what everyone has said so far, so much truth and wisdom in all the comments. I love John Wells' statement, it showed true maturity and biblical fidelity to the practice of church discipline. We have to remember that The Ambassador is a minister of the Gospel as well as a pastor, a shepherd, an overseer. He is supposed to be called to to very high standards (see 1 Timothy 3).
I hope the holy hip hop community will not rush him back into ministry or making music; it could be that God never wants him back in the pulpit or behind a mic but rather wants him to become an exemplary husband and father instead, we don't know yet, but we have to accept that possibility and be okay with that because we care more about the man's soul and his relationship with God which will then affect his marriage, his parenting, his service to his local church body, and so on and so on then we do about the music or his teachings which have been such a blessing to so many. This is where theology matters, where the rubber meets the road. We gotta trust Christ and do what the Bible says. I hope we can get a statement from the man himself in the near future, in the mean time i am definitely definitely lifting him, his wife, his kids, his church, his community, his friends, and his fans up in prayer. Endure to the end my brothers and sisters. Grace and peace, -Israel P.S. Aren't y'all glad we aren't under the yoke of the law having to earn our salvation??? Imagine being a muslim, or a mormon, or a roman catholic there would be no hope for any of us---but Jesus paid for our sins, thank you Lord!! written by Just...Shawn 116 Clique, May 16, 2009

Recognize Your Duty
"Remind them to be subject to rulers, to authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good deed, to malign no one, to be uncontentious, gentle, showing every consideration for all men" (Titus 3:1-2). Remember your Depravity "For we also once were foolish ourselves, disobedient, deceived, enslaved to various lusts and pleasures, spending our life in malice and envy, hateful, hating one another" (Titus 3:3). Rejoice in your Deliverance But when the kindness of God our Savior and His love for mankind appeared, He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out upon us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, that being justified by His grace we might be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life" (Titus 3:5-7). Render Good Deeds "This is a trustworthy statement; and concerning these things I want you to speak confidently, so that those who have believed God will be careful to engage in good deeds. These things are good and profitable for men" (Titus 3: The Lord responded compassionately, “My friend’s Deuce & CMR , when I asked you to serve Me— you accepted. I told you that your task was to push against the rock with all your strength— which you’ve done. Never once did I mention to you that I expected you to move it. Your task was to push. And now you come to Me— with your strength spent, thinking that you’ve failed. But is that really so?” “Look at yourself. Your arms are strong and muscular. Your back sinew is mighty. Your hands are callused from the constant pressure;and your legs have become massive and hard. Through opposition you’ve grown much and your abilities now surpass that which you used to have. Yet you haven’t moved the rock. But your calling was to be obedient and to push and to exercise your faith and trust in My wisdom. This you’ve done. I, my friend, will now move the rock.” At times, when we hear from God, we tend to use our own intellect to decipher what He wants. What God ACTUALLY wants is just simple OBEDIENCE and FAITH IN HIM. By all means, exercise the faith that moves mountains, but know that it’s still God who moves the mountains. Heavenly Father please restore dignity, honor, trustworthiness, and righteousness to Deuce and CMR. God Bless ….. M.O.V. ! written by LaDonna M. "The Exectress" Smith, May 22, 2009
Being a minister of the Gospel I have to admit that I am truly PISSED by this post. Not at the general info "CMR will no longer be carrying Tonic's..." but to blatently put the reasons WHY are wrong.
Please show me in the BIBLE where Jesus had ever EMBARRASED someone because of their sin? This is just another example of the state of some "Christians" today; having emotional experiences instead of spiritual experiences. Let me clarify: I am not condoning what Tonic did/didnt do but reality check: his SIN and what have you is not BIGGER or SMALLER than something you may have done. In fact hurting him through that post is a sin because the bible does in fact say Love your neighbor as yourself. The greatest commandment is to LOVE! We wonder why so many of our people in the world wont come to church and those who are in it leave because of FOOLISHNESS! How is putting our brother on blast helping-I was disappointed not because of the SIN but because this was put out there like that. The word says HE WITHOUT SIN CAST THE FIRST STONE. That's how Jesus defended that woman who had committed adultry. If this is the case everyone on here needs to put all of their sins out there too! Oh and B4 THAT rumor circulates: I am defending someone I dont even ever remember meeting! But since he accepted Jesus Christ he is my brother and FAMILY FIRST is how we carry things! written by DJ Vow, May 22, 2009
Rather than putting one man's failure under the magnifying glass, let us pray as the body of Christ. Lift his family up in prayer, pray for peace and restoration. None of us are perfect, Ill be the first to stand up and admit that as a man of God I too have fallen, and like a dog I too have returned to my vomit (Prov 26:11) However, God is a God of mercy and grace (eph 2:4-9) If it wasnt for that we would all be mest up. We love you Ambassador!

That's why Jesus came to die for us...OUR Sins. We can all look inside our own selves and find some fault. The only thing we can do is Pray, Repent and keep pressing toward the Mark. I learned a while ago, that we need to keep our eyes on JESUS and not on man. Keep the Ambassador and his family in prayer to get past this.

After so many years in gospel, I can say I'm not surprise by how we fall at times. God will heal this young man and family of gospel music. The press I recieved from the record company told me a lot about how we are as Christians, or should I say some of us deal with things. This statement should not have come out in such a way, this is not the way we shoud deal with this. I pray that the person who is talking him, will get him back on his feet. Its a good thing Christ is not like man...Praying for the family

Wow man, this is so hard to hear. I have always enjoyed Pastor's albums. This is why I have heard being a Pastor is the hardest job EVER!! The enemy wants to rob kill and destroy. If we let our guard down for a second, we are done. Nevertheless, Jesus died for all our souls. We all have sinned, but this is especially hard knowing he was preaching. We all need to put up some very high standards when dealing with the opposite sex in our lives. Keep this man in prayer for restoration. We should all learn from this, and strive on to be more like Jesus.

Wow dude, wow...
I really hope you think about what you have been posting here. On the real you don't even sound like a Christian, I assume you are one b/c you're on a Christian hip hop site, but your fruit in the form of your postings is showing something else all together. You should be SO thankful that Jesus doesn't talk to you like that, the only One who even has the right to address sinners the way you just did to Amba doesn't even do it, and yet you, a fallen creature put your self righteousness on display for all to see. Brother, I haven't seen ONE post, not ONE approving of what Ambassador did, as Christians we know he committed an ugly sin, but by all accounts he has repented of this sin and is seeking restoration, as a body we need to love on this brother--keep him accountable most definitely yes--but LOVE on him to the max. You would do well to reread The Tonic's statement, that's how you deal with the situation in righteousness AND in love. Man, if you're a believer I love you bro, but just wise up man, search the Scriptures and see if you're really glorifying God with speech like that... written by Sol, May 24, 2009
When David fell short and got into sin in his marriage..It took him awhile to acknowledge his sin and God exposed it to Israel because David tried to hide it.However, God is forgiving we know that.David wrote the largest book in the Bible as a sign of his repentance to God. (the book of Psalm) My point is, even to this day, God has made David exalted through his writings and his life because they encourage so many of today's Christians. I pray that The Ambassador will recover greatly because, even though he has done great things, God can still do even greater things using Him, just like he did David.

1 Timothy 5:20 - Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear.
CMR was not wrong for putting out their press release the way they did. This way we ALL have an oportunity to reflect on where we are in our walk with the Lord Jesus and grow from it. Since Amba IS in the body of Christ, it is our business. It's our business to lift him up in prayer and this serves to let others know that it's not something to be condoned in the body of Christ. The way CMR put it out there was very tasteful and the people in the body of Christ who support CMR's ministry has a right to know what's going on in that ministry if it's opposite of Christ. Yes, we all sin and come short of the glory of God, but sin such as this destroys families. What CMR did is in keeping with what they preach - no nonsense, hardcore Christology. It would have been hypocritical NOT to have addressed this the way they did and it WOULD have looked like a cover-up potentially destroying much more of their witness. With the knowledge that Ambassador has, I doubt if he thinks anything less of what CMR did and if the roles were reversed, I'm sure he would have done the same thing (or I hope that he would have). I don't know the man personaly, this is based off of what I've heard him preach and teach. In a moment of weakness, the enemy struck. We all need to be vigilant and strive for holiness. Perhaps if more leaders followed the example of CMR the body wouldn't be in such poor shape as it is now. Think about it, some are criticizing CMR for letting us know that our brother (and hopefully sister) need support. If the millions of people that they've reached through their ministry all unite in prayer for Amba, what a marvelous work of God would come forth. In the matchless name of Jesus, Grace and Peace to all. written by MOBIGGA, May 24, 2009
My Prayer is that we comfort this Man of God and also learn something from this. By me being a minister as well as an artist. I have seen this too many times.I pray that we really examine ourselves and our ministry talents and giftings by the Holy Ghost. I believe that this stuff that we call holding up the standard is somewhat of the religious mindset of the Crusaders. Now read on.....Most of us since we have been saved have been indoctrinated with the do's and dont's of a Christian religion ,but we dont manifest CHRIST nature when we present His gospel. Therefore , without truly obeying the text in Matthew 11:29 (Read it)We allow the anointing of God to take us where our character cant keep us because we have not so learned Christ. I dont think that Jesus is giving God high fives when HE watches us in our religious pep rallies and hear HHH rappers joyfully use metaphors of people going to hell and people living in sin. Most of the people who preach so militantly against sin and the sinners not only are struggling themselves but also dont sincerly intercede for those who are not saved and for each other who are preserving the Faith. I belive that before we preach Jesus and His Principles, lets capture his heart. Read Heb.4:15, I am not trying to water down the Gospel by saying that we dont deal with sin.Look at how Paul dealt with this believer who sinned by sleeping with his Father's wife. Preachers always read the first part but dont study the rest. Read 1 Cor 5.5 the severity of his sin 2Cor 2:1-11 the restoring of the brother. I commend Kirk Franklin for his confession of his struggle and his victory over it.Most of us paint this picture that we are infallible. We sing like it, preach like it and rap like it.But the reality is ....WE are all in our personal transition or process. And thats why the world aint feelin us because we act like were Super Human and WE all know that WE are not! My bible tells you and I in 1 John 3:2 READ THAT ! And remember the same mercy that we put out is what we get back. Dont park in sin and dont compromise .....but in this ....DONT BE A PHARISEE! Ambassador ....when you fell dog we ALL fell. I know that youre sorry for it all . Go back to DAD, climb up in HIS lap and recieve by faith HIS LOVE and MERCY.And when you are restored do this 2 Cor 1 : 4. I love ya Fella

I just want to say, even our thoughts of lust is a Sin, so what ever we watch, listen to, or say, if it's out side of Gods light, it is a sin, and I think that, we should all pray, I think before you reject a falling brother, you should understand the Love of Jesus, Do as they say, Not as they do, just because He fell, doesn't mean the Truth is not in Him,..we all fall short,....He who is without sin,..throw the first stone,...Brother,..don't you even duck,...Keep your head up,...ask God to Forgive you,...work hard to keep your family together,.and get back on the battle feild and fight.....

Matthew 18:21-22 "Then Peter came to him and asked, "Lord, how often should I forgive someone who sins against me? Seven Times?" "No, not seven times," Jesus replied, "but seventy times seven!"
Peter, trying to be especially generous, asked Jesus if seven (the "perfect" number) was enough times to forgive someone. But Jesus answered, "Seventy times seven," meaning that we shouldn't even keep track of how many times we forgive someone. We should always forgive those who are truly repentant, no matter how many times they ask. Does God Have a Limit on Forgiveness? God, who "does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent" (2 Peter 3:9), has no limits on forgiveness for those who will repent, obey, and ask him for his forgiveness. Jesus told his followers (Luke 17:4), "Even if that person wrongs you seven times a day each time turns again and asks for forgiveness, you must forgive." I don't think he meant that we are only restricted to forgiving once every three hours, but that he was saying there should be no restriction on our forgiveness. Would God hold himself to a less strict standard than that to which he holds us? No, he will forgive without limit. But, that does not mean that we should keep on sinning thinking that we will not be in danger if we have repented and habitually still live in a fixed state of sin. For forgiveness to take place there must also be a changed heart, a repentant heart. written by Man Of Valor, May 28, 2009
It is important for us to be quick to forgive those who have done something
wrong against us because the Lord has declared that if we do not forgive others their trespasses, He would not forgive us of our trespasses. We should never allow ourselves to hold a grudge deep in our hearts refusing to forgive those who have wronged us. We must be quick to forgive because harboring unforgiveness in our hearts can be compared to drinking poison and hoping the other person dies from that poison. We hurt ourselves more than anyone else when we refuse to forgive those who have hurt or done something wrong against us. (Matthew 6:14-15) (Mark 11:25-26) (Romans 12:18-21) written by Chuks, June 11, 2009
This is sad, but we need to pray for him. Back in 06 when I was still young in the faith I was really encourage by Amba's Thesis and the way he dressed. I was like if this cat who looks like a gangstar can worship God, then I can too. May God restore and guide him through this.

When I heard of what happen, though I was not surprise, because anyone of us could fall.... my heart broke. It was the ministry of CM, (along with The Ambassador) who convinced me become an artist. Heb. 12:1 talks about that one sin that we carry, that so easily beset us. You know that one thing the enemy throws in front of you and we trip... We all have short comings... When something like this happen we should always do a self examination of our own lives to see about our own short comings... Our thoughts, actions speech... I know based off the relationship that Ambassador shows with the Lord throughout his music, and God's desire to restore, that he and his family will bounce back from it. I know that CMR have a standard that all ministries should have when it comes to immoral behavior... It's simple, if it's something that is in the dark then I'm quite sure it would have stayed in the dark but when things are exposed in the open it must be dealt with in the open... Praise God for the stand and the public announcement as to how CM is handling the situation and Big ups to God for bringing the family together.... (Lord help me to deal with my sin before you deal with it)!!!! When I say stayed in the dark, I'm saying that it would have been handled behind closed doors... For years CM have held a standard... I thinks about Enock who was in the ministry with CM and because of situations, there was a pardon... When he came out with his solo joint Awthentic, he spoke on all the struggles he faced while in the group... Do all the artist struggle with it? IDK but we must remember, if not by the grace of God then there go I...
