John Piper: "Everyon... hey Wadeo who are the two pastors that have dinner where one was Reformed and the other WOF? thanks
John Piper: "Everyon... I think this was the realest interview I ever heard on this topic, especially with the question. usually the question is posed in such a way as "Is the prosperity gospel wrong?" or "what are your views on the prosperity gospel?" and so forth and then cats just start goin in. but piper here took a good approach and had a great question asked of him (not saying that he planned it) and the outcome helped me.
Episode 145: Intervi... We will always disagree, but the key is how do we address those disagreements. The thing many have tried to do is say that certain people aren't brothers and therefore false teachers and as a result believe you can just treat them any kind of way. Pastor Fred is a brother. I praise God for his humility and I pray that the interview is a blessing to people.
Episode 145: Intervi... this is a great interview cuz to me the greatest heresy preached today is this denominational and theologically beefing. In 1 Cor 12:21 says The eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of you,” nor again the head to the feet, “I have no need of you.” and as a reformed cat that goes to Oral Roberts University and Victory Christian Center a word of faith church in Tulsa, but listens to John MacArthur and John Piper i been waiting for something like this. Yes we may not agree but we got...
Episode 144: Richie ... Before I give you my opinion, Richard Dauphin will be back on this weekend and will share his thoughts on this.
Personally, I hear you on the curruption. But I have never heard any hard core claims on the Red Cross. Secondly, this is what they do - disaster relief. If funds is what they say they need to get the job done, you have to trust that they know better what they need to help people than we do, since they are on the ground in Haiti and have experience doing this.
I'm not saying cloth...
Episode 144: Richie ... Wade-O,
I was listening to this past episode and the discussion on why we as Christians need to donate money to the Hatian relief effort and had a question that arouse out of a conversation I had with some brothers from church. We were talking and discussing about giving money and we felt that giving money to political systems that were corrupt or full of known corruption was counter productive. At the church I attend, we are putting together a canned food drive instead because we feel that thi...
Official Playlist an... Never really thought about it. I'll check with Reach to see if they mind. Glad you dug it.

Ever hear your deacon curse while coaching the little league football team? Witness one of the ushers catch an attitude with a cashier in a department store? See the first lady leaving “Martini Mondays” at the club? Catch one of the married men talking about a late night rendezvous with another woman in the church? Guess what, people can see you! We all have seen or heard some things that elicit the cliché, “Didn’t they say they were a Christian?”
It's tough to critize someone whom you don't know personally or have not studied enough to know what they believe
He's sees good and bad with calling people out by name: Good - you warn people. Bad - it becomes personal
We all want to prosper. We all want to succeed. We all want good health.
And btw, based on the title of this post, see how easy it is to take something out of context. Context is key folks. I'm sure all of you will have your thoughts on this as well. If you're on your cell and can't watch the video, I've posted the transcript after the jump....
